Bairnsdale Community Forum

Do you identify as a woman with disability (including chronic health issues and mental illness) living in the East Gippsland area?

Would you like to learn more about what women with disabilities are doing in your area?

Would you like to learn more about advocacy and how you can be involved?

Women with Disabilities Victoria (WDV) and Gippsland Disability Advocacy Inc. (GDAi), and East Gippsland Shire Council would like to invite you to a community forum.

You will learn more about advocacy, speaking up for yourself, and getting support if you need it.

You will also hear from WDV about our work in Gippsland, and ways that you can get involved and connect with other women with disability near you.

  • Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander flags
  • Women with Disabilities Victoria acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants and traditional custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We pay our respects to ancestors and Elders, past and present. The WDV community is committed to honouring the unique cultural and spiritual relationship Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the land and waters, and their rich contribution to society.
