Sharing Our Experience

The Sharing Our Expertise project recognises that though women with disabilities have long been viewed as recipients of health, social and disability services, they have less commonly been viewed as valuable employees and leaders in these sectors. This not only denies women with disabilities employment in growing areas but deprives health, social and disability services of the beneficial insights and contributions which women with lived experience of disability could bring to their sectors.

These resource have been created by the Sharing Our Expertise Project Team, including six women, non-binary, or gender-diverse people with lived experience of disability.
